Thank You So Much

I wanted to take the time out to say thank you to everyone who came out for the family reunion. Yes, I know I was not there, but I am so happy that it was a success. Although Claudette and I did the leg work in the beginning, the reunion would not have been possible if no one came, and the success of the weekend was to all our family members who pitched in to make the weekend effortless. As of right now, I don't have a list of who did what, I think Claudette is still sleeping the weekend off, but I wanted to thank:

Oral F, for getting the hotel rooms for us, he was a trooper and kept the rooms on his tab until we were able to fulfill our obligation.

Russell S. Who made himself and his car available for the weekend.

Marlon F. Who took the time out of packing and preparing for his big move and made himself available for our out of town guests.

I will start posting pictures of the weekend as they come in.

A few days away

Hi Family and friends,

It looks like everything is coming together for the reunion, I did have some pictures to show you of the park and the hotel, but I left it at the hotel. Yes, classic Erica!!! Take my word, this place is fabulous, it is going to be so much fun because there is something to do for everyone, wether it is just to sit and relax, or play volleyball and tennis.

I won't be there this weekend and I really wish I was, but I have to be else where that weekend. It was a tough and maybe selfish choice..but it is what it is..

Anyway please enjoy the pictures I have posted of Uncle Eric and Auntie Ruthlyn.

Mid Month update

By now many of you should have received your newsletter with all the details surrounding our get together in August. Please feel free to post your comments on this website or email me at seymourfam@yahoo.com. This month has been very busy on my end, and I anticipate it will be even more so as we get closer to the reunion.

I plan to be in Orlando at the end of June, to stay at the hotel and see how the logistics will work out during the weekend of the event. I will also be able to provide a more personalized feedback on the actual hotel and the type of service we can expect as guests.

I am still waiting on those pics to post on the website, as I want this website to be a source of connection for the entire family.

KickOff

Family and Friends,
This is the kick off post to chronicle our progress to the Big Day. Word is slowly progressing to different branches of the family and our list is growing every week, also various ideas are being thrown around to help make the weekend that much more exciting. Just so everyone knows if we decide to run with your idea, you are going to be a primary contact to put it in motion. Agenda as it stands so far:

Friday August 10th: Welcome Dinner. Location TBD

Saturday August 11th: Disneyworld or Universal Studios

Sunday August 12th: Cookout at a nearby Park, games, music, etc.

Monday August 13th: Farewell Breakfast, Day of Golf at Golf Hall of Fame
Oral and Marlon gathering details.
